There are many standard self-supporting Figure 8 wires and cable, however on occasion you may need to install a cable that is not available in this configuration. For example, although a 600 volt stranded tray cable is not made in a self-supporting construction we can lash it to a messenger to use in an aerial application.* We will attach 1/4" or larger messenger cable of extra high strength galvanized 7-strand steel with stainless steel lashing wire to the cable you specify. Your pre-lashed cable will be shipped within 2 to 3 days from our Carbondale, Pennsylvania facility. * It is important to properly fasten and reinforce the cable and support wire during installation to avoid sagging over time. Many cables can be pre-lashed, however some are not suitable for lashing such as fiber optic cable and multiple cables. If you do require multiple wires or cables in a run we offer Custom Jacketing. Once the cables are jacketed together, we can then lash to a messenger. Benefits:
