Filling: The entire cable within the outer jacket is flooded with a petrolatum-polyethylene gel filling compound.


BJF Foam Skin Filled for Direct Burial, Aerial or Duct applications

Advantages: lightweight, smaller outside diameters

Shielding:
BJFAF = 0.008" coated aluminum
BJFSF = 0.006" steel tape for gopher of severe service areas

Filling: An inner layer of polyethylene expanded 50% by volume, plus a 0.002" outer wall of color-coded solid polyethylene or polypropylene.


BWFA/BWFG Distribution wire, filled for direct burial applications

Advantages: improved electrical stability, lightweight, long continuous length reels, installation speed

Shielding:
BWFA = 0.008" aluminum tape shield
BWFG = Gopher-resistant 0.005" corrugated copper-clad stainless steel or copper-clad alloy tape
