Underground Aluminum Triplex Underground Distribution Cable 600 Volt, Secondary Distribution Three insulated, compressed stranded, Triplex-assembled, hard-drawn 1350 aluminum conductors. Black XLP insulation on phase conductors, and black XLP insulation on neutral conductor with two yellow stripes for identification.
Application: Designed for underground distribution systems as a secondary in three wire-single phase systems which are operated at 600 volts or less.
Primary Underground Distribution Cable 1350, compressed-stranded aluminum conductor, polyethylene insulation and shield, coated copper concentric neutral conductor, with or without jacket.
Application: To distribute power from substation to step-down transformer which in turn supplies power to several homes or to small industrial and commercial customers.

Overhead Copper Bare Copper Bare copper, solid or stranded. Available in tempers hard, medium-hard, or soft. Stranded conductors are concentrically stranded.
Application: Classes A and AA suitable for overhead transmission and distribution applications. Classes B and C are suitable for
uninsulated hook up, jumpers, and grounds in electrical construction.
Covered Line Wire Hard or medium-hard copper conductors, covered with polyethylene.
Application: Used primarily for overhead secondary distribution lines. Installed on insulators, otherwise treated as bare conductor.
Multiplex Service Drop Conductors are concentrically stranded compressed soft copper. Insulated with polyethylene. Neutral messengers are either solid or concentrically stranded bare hard-drawn copper.
Application: Used to supply power, usually from a pole-mounted transformer to the user's service head where connection to the service entrance cable is made. Also suitable for installations for street lighting, security lights, and temporary service for construction. To be used at voltages of 600 volts or less phase to phase and at conductor temperatures not to exceed 75°C.
